seeking solitude

Well, another crazy week is almost over (while another crazy weekend is about to begin). "Hiking Weekend Extravaganza 2006" is just around the corner. I am sooo excited! This is the first time I've gotten to use my pack all year! Levi just got a pack and boots (I am slowly transforming him into a hiker..heh heh). The outdoors is a wonderful place, but hopfully it doesn't rain too much!
I am so out of shape... its not even funny. When I lived with Tina (and other females before her) I always worked out consistently. Now I barley make it to the gym 3 times a week! I definitely need to get someone to work out with or join a class or something! It really helps me to stay motivated if I work out with another person(s). Me and Levi just bought inline skates so we can zoom around the park! Maybe that will whip me into shape! I just hope that I don't die this weekend. I might be huffing and wheezing and lagging behind everyone else. Oh well. I need to start somewhere if I am ever going to loose the 20+ pounds I packed on since last summer! Oops. I can't believe I just admitted that. Eh, who cares. I'm also going to be 27 in 16 days...that's dangerously close to the big "30" (no offense to those who are 30, but you have to admit it is "the top of the hill"). Okay, so maybe 27 isn't "dangerously close" to 30....but lets just say it is closer than i'm comfortable with. :) Well, I am off to finish laundry and packing. Say a prayer for me this weekend when you're in your warm snuggly bed.

quick 'lil post

I have to make this a quick one, because I really should be doing homework. Oops.
It is so hot hot hot!!! I swear I've eaten about 50 of those flavor ice pops and I don't feel a cent cheaper......I mean a bit cooler!!! I'm about ready to make a bunch of jello, put it in the bath tub, and sit in it! Or I could just go swimming in the pool. Nah! What fun would that be? I would have to dodge too many kids who were screaming "MARKO!".....(wait for it.......) "POLO!" (repeat 20 times in high pitch). I am no good at watching kids play that game, because the whole time I just want to yell "He is right there in front of you! Oh my gosh....just reach out and touch him....TOUCH HIM!!! Then I get in there (like I'm going to show them how it is done, 'cause I'm kick'n it old school) and I suck at it! I realize...'wow, this is harder than I thought'. Now kids are taunting me "Just touch him, touch him. Its easy." And I'm all like "shut up". Good times. Well, I better get back to doing stuff. Hope everyone is finding ways to stay cool!
