a poem that doesn't rhyme:
today it rained,
yesterday it rained,
on my wedding day it rained.
i am tired of the rain.
a story that is pointless:
i was thinking that i might want to sell my car, but then i remembered that i still owe money on it...for another three years. bummer.
then i was thinking that i might want to sell all my other things and send the money to some kids in africa. they could use it to buy a cow or something. are there cows in africa? i have never been there. i've never been to florida either. i hear that there are real live alligators there. why would you choose to live in a place that has alligators roaming around? don't people realize that they can bite? i guess it could be pretty exciting. i would rather live where there are gators, than in a place that has hurricans or earthquakes.....or volcanos for goodness sake. yeah, that would be ... a little too exciting.
advice: take it or leave it.....
don't venture out into deep water, just stay in the small puddles where nothing bad can happen. don't "make a splash". form a comfort zone so you don't get wet. and if all else fails: quit. people will be expecting it anyway. oh, and don't think too highly of yourself or you'll feel bad, but don't think too lowly of yourself or that will make you feel bad too.

i'm a splashy kind of guy.
"i do remember it being very very hot."
-yeah, but "hot" doesn't rhyme with... uhh, nevermind.
yes, it was very hot. it did start to rain right before levi and me went into the reception hall. fortunately, all our guest were already inside.
matt-
thanks for the cow info. i just might look into doing that.
i want to do more for mankind than just making good coffee. :>
i felt a few drops before going into the reception hall. it was pretty overcast, but i remember being enchanted with the possibility that it might rain and also that your reception was very nice. often, i feel the need to step outside a lot at receptions, but not at yours. the dancing kids were great.
i remember the rain on your wedding day, just a little bit of rain though. i've always said that western pa is under a perpetual shroud of percipitation. so if you're going to live there, you're going to have get wet. and lucky for you, you know how to swim, i've seen you do it. and no one is expecting you to fail. and if you do it doesn't make you a "failure". and maybe we shouldn't think to highly of ourselves, but it's ok to have confidence in yourself and know that getting wet doesn't mean you're going to drown. so that's my advice. take it or leave it. ;)
i just read what i wrote and i realized i used the wrong "to", i meant "too".
thanx for the advice, tammo!
your grrrrreat. ;)
hola frankers. been meaning to say hello for about forever, sooo... "hello." i vaguely remember rain and vividly remember heat. but thumbs up, over all. probably never said it, but: very good wedding. cheers.
I also recommend Heifer. Instead of buying everyone at the yarn shop a gift for Christmas last year I bought shares for wool producing animals. That kind of gift makes everyone happy.
hey rew.
how is alaska? thanks for visiting my blog! its always good to hear from you.
hi heather! stock is the gift that keeps on giving!
sorry i haven't been able to make it out to knit night in a while. i've been extremely busy with online grad school. hopfully i can come visit again sometime.
Oops, I guess that was a confusing comment. I'm not sophisticated enough to get into the stock market yet. If you don't want to buy a whole goat or cow for someone from Heifer you can buy a "share" in one where several people get together to buy a whole living one. But really all the money sent to Heifer goes into one big fund to help whoever needs it. The actual method of helping just doesn't generate the same fuzzy happy feelings...ok, I'm done now.
Hey Frankie. Thanks again for coming over and hanging out while you were on the east side of PA. It was great to see you and Levi. As you requested, here's my site: www.kmwy.widgetstudios.com
the heck! since when does my big sis have her own blog?!? looks good, steeney.
